Today’s image is another from my practice shoot with a macro lens. I kinda like this one better over all. The focus is better and I like the composition a little more. Let me know what you think.

Awesome! That’s so cool capturing this. I’m not sure what lens you are using, but wondering if you lowered the aperture a little more of this would be in focus? I like this much more than yesterday’s image.

Thanks Rick! I am using a macro converter, maybe that’s why I’m getting such a short DOF. My aperture was as low as I could get at 1.4 on my 50mm. I’ll have to do more research on this.

Cool Macro! I would go for a little more depth of field. I have the 105mm Macro and this is always an issue for me!
